IMO Woody's is better for the beef BBQ, Porky's for, er, pork.
Another take out only alternative for good BBQ is Bad 2 Da Bone on Century Blvd. just west of Hawthorne Blvd.
There's a lot of fast food in the new development along Century just east of Hollywood Park.Lucky for the OP there are menus or websites available for All locations mentioned so far, just click on the Place link for more info.

re: DiveFan
The problem I had with Woody's was the beef I got was fairly low grade and full of gristle. I do like Porky's but I've only had some pork dishes. A person I work with told me near the Forum is a place called Bourbon Street and she recommends their gumbo. Haven't had a chance to try it, but just throwing it out there. My problem with Pann is the quality range of their dishes varies wildly. Don't get their fish and chips under any circumstances. You have been warned.

The two P's, Pann's and Porky's.
Both have excellent fried chicken, especially the wings dinner at Pann's. 6 pieces with either mashed potatoes, or if you are feeling peckish, with a waffle.

re: Servorg
Porky's is my current favorite BBQ in SoCal. Amazing pulled pork -- the sandwich is huge and served with unadvertised dirty rice and grilled pineapple. Others have commented favorably on the ribs and brisket, and they serve tasty, crispy Golden Bird chicken. Also a large, very clean seating area for eating in, lots of parking, and even a drive-thru. Going to an event at the Forum is a great excuse for a pig-out at Porky's -- enjoy, and what's playing?
