Email when there's a reply?

Can you set your account to receive an email whenever there's a new post to a thread you've posted in? Most message boards I've used do this.

Sheesh. I can't get it to STOP sending me the emails saying a new comment on whatever...i'm getting tons of these irritating emals for the two threads i posted on. I admit on one thread I checked the box for this feature but on the other I did not. I clicked on my profile and tried to end the use of the 'feature' from there but no change. please help

The software for commenting on the CHOW side of the site is actually different from what's used for the boards on the Chowhound side -- comment email is working over there. It's not good that you can't get it to stop, however.

We have no direct control over that function in our administrative tools, unfortunately, but send me an email at jacquilynne dot schlesier at cnet dot com and I'll see what I can do to help.

Not currently. That was a feature, but it was causing some problems so it went away. The best way to keep track of replies to threads you've participated in is via your 'my chow' page.
