Post-Wedding Dinner in the Mid-Cities Area?

QueenB Aug 22, 2007 05:33 AM

Mr. B and I have finally decided on a week to get married. We'd like to go somewhere really nice for dinner afterwards to celebrate with our parents. We'd prefer to stay close to the mid-cities area, as it will be a weeknight, and the closer to home we are, the better.

Can anyone suggest a nice place for dinner with excellent food? No worry about the price...this is a special day and price doesn't matter.

    Congratulations.
If you head into Dallas, what about Lola or York Street? Both are very charming and romantic.

I second the Silver Fox recommendation. Ask for a manager, explain the occasion and they will "do it right."

I third this. We took my IL's there for their 35th wedding anniversary not long ago and it was a great meal.

What kind of food would you like?
We have quite a few good steakhouses here, and I'd really recommend the Silver Fox in Grapevine. I know they will treat you right!

Steakhouse would work. Either a steakhouse or your basic nice French or American place would work best.

We really want a place that will treat us well and where the food is incredible.

          How about Cacharel in Arlington?

It is on Lamar just off Hwy 360. They have a fixed price menu for dinner which form them is choice of appetizer, entree and dessert... or a steak menu which is just like you would think..

I've been there twice and both times had good experiences. It is quite, romantic, has an excellent wine and liquors list, and the service has always been wonderful for me... plus it is on the ninth floor and I think you can request a window seat to see out when you make reservations...

          Just a suggestion... and congratulations!
