Some of the best New York Strips I ever had were at McCormick and Schmick's. Several times I have noticed good post about the Irvine McCormick and Schmick's Happy Hour burgers. Price and quality were reported as being good. Maybe call to see if they still offer them.

I really like the burger at the Bristol Farms Cafe. They use very flavorful meat.

Another example would be Burger Boy on State College and Howell.

Portillo's in Buena Park - big, juicy, and flavorful - my personal favorite. Also Lazy Dog in Westminster or their new location in Orange.

                    1. Bandera, Corona del Mar... in-house ground sirloin, in-house baked egg bun, truly perfection.

                    2. TK Burger, Penninsula, Costa Mesa

                    3. Health Emporium, Corona del Mar... grass-fed New Zealand beef - outstanding flavor

TK is Awful and makes In&Out seem great which it isn't either.

A's Burgers has a great double bacon cheeseburger. Good breakfast burritos served all day. Great value too. I love this place.

I had a good experience at Citrus Cafe at the corner of Edinger and Red Hill Aves. in Tustin (a mile or so northwest of the train station) -- a charbroiled burger of the big, fat, juicy, drippy variety. Great bacon, too. It was an unexpectedly nice find.
