  1. Will you have a car, and where will you be staying?

will have car and we are staying at the Hyatt at Crown center

    2. Bluestem is one place, Room 39 is another. Both excellent. Not new but seriously good food.

      1. None of these are new but definitely worth visiting - when we were visiting KC last September (we're in NYC) we went to 1924 Main. We had an amazing dinner - it's new/modern American and they change their menu weekly. If I remember correctly they do a prixe fixe for dinner. Terrific wine and beer list too. Excellent service.

We also had a great brunch at Succotash in City Market (we actually went twice in our trip). They lean towards offering more vegetarian dishes but there are still non-veg options. The service can be on the slower side but the atmosphere is fun and leisurely so we didn't mind.

Our last day we had breakfast at Blue Bird Bistro. It's organic and focused on local ingredients. The food there was great.

        1. I just had a delicious and wonderful lunch at Aixois. It's over on Brookside I think (I'm just visitiong from Brooklyn).

Tonight we're trying the Swizzle Bistro - never been but hopefully will be worth it.

          1. Don't think I've ever seen this place mentioned here, but Bell Street Mama's on 39th is excellent for breakfast. Huge menu, great food and interesting people-watching. They're moving to the former Nichol's on SW Tfwy in October.
