Greensboro Lunch Ideas?

  • 7

Hello!

I haven't seen my brother, his wife, and my sister in over a year. A baby shower is bringing us all together, just for the weekend. My brother is staying at a hotel near the airport in Greensboro. Any great ideas for a fun lunch spot for the 4 of us?

  1. Are you looking for a place near the airport, or anywhere in G'boro? Any food or price preference?

Open to all ideas. Location is not that critical. Since moving to Maine, I miss southern-style cooking. Shrimp and grits, fried oysters, crab, etc...price not so much an issue either. Thanks!

This post has some great suggestions:

You'll have to do a little research to find out which ones are open for lunch...Bistro Sofia only does dinner. Undercurrent serves lunch, but only Monday - Friday. (I assume you are planning your event for Saturday) Muse is open for lunch every day...not sure about Merisol. Liberty Oak (downtown) is also a nice choice (can't remember if its mentioned in the previous thread). Have fun!

To add to the list (and fairly close to the airport) for pizza: Mario's (1575 New Garden Rd # D, Greensboro - (336) 316-1119). At the very most, an 8-10 min drive from the airport.

Yum -Yum for Hot dogs and ice cream (homemade)

      2. I would recommend Saigon on High Point Road. Not southern but very good and in a nice relaxed atmosphere

        1. I think Chop House Grill would be great along with Green Valley Grill or Lucky 32. Have fun!
