San Diego - Little Italy?

Any recommendations for a nice restaurant with great italian food in Little Italy? My brother in laws will be in town in a few weeks and they are Italian. I'd like to take them out to eat after picking them up at the airport on a Friday evening (they land at 6:00)

Skip Little Italy and go to Trattoria Acqua in La Jolla.

If they are Italian why not take them someplace different. somehow I cant imagine that any food here compares to what they usually eat or make themselves...I do love BA ..but it gets very noisy.. they might not like that..how about the C level acrosss from the airport.. GREAT view.. outside...good food.
I also like Po Pazzo(little Italy)... they are known for steaks but I had the BEST
spaghetti and meatballs there!

i agree, Buon Appetito is the only one I have gone to more than twice.
