Great Italian for 6 tomorrow evening

I am going out to dinner with two of my former Italian professors and a couple of friends. We all studied Italian for a long time, spent time in Italy, and are major foodies. I am coordinating everything and was hoping to find a reasonably priced restaurant with amazing food. I love Angelini, but too expensive for this group, and La Buca is great, but I think too cramped. I would any suggestions.

As far as location goes, anywhere is fine!

  1. Palmeri on San Vicente in Brentwood.

    1. Valentino's-OK, that's expensive!
Il Tiramisu in Sherman Oaks -one of my faves!
      Gio in Encino
      Angeli Caffe in WeHo
Laconda del lago in Santa Monica

Some people disagree with me on some fo those, but I like em!

Second Angeli Caffe since it hits the mark in terms of great food and reasonable prices.

      2. La Terza has been really good lately.

        1. Why not give CAfe Bella Roma a try and report back to rest of us who have not been yet.
          FYI: BYO

I think I may try it tomorrow night since I live in the area and have been looking for a new place to eat.

Yup, going tonight. They apparently don't have their liquor license yet, but the corkage is a whopping $4. Will post a review tomorrow.

I went last week. It was great. Owned and personally run by a personable couple. She waits, he cooks. Real, authentic. Deserves support.

            2. Maybe the new kid in town -- Bollini's Pizzeria Napolitana. Check out the menu on the link below. I had the Pizza Napolitana and was pleased with the flavors except for the sausage. I plan to return with a friend soon.

              First post on Bollini's
