Sorry....screwed up the title in the earlier post...

Title
I leave this Saturday for Tokyo and will arrive Sunday afternoon. I am looking for a tradtional Yakatori restuarunt in the Akasaka area where I will be staying. My friends tell me that most Yakatori places will be closed on Sunday...especially in Akasaka. I have been told about one place called Net Imaiya whose web site looks good, but is more fancy and modern than what I was looking for. Any other ideas. Also, if you have any other ideas other than Yakatori I would welcome them. I will be staying at the B Akasaka Hotel...will be most exausted, but will find time to ead and would appreciate any ideas. Many thanks in advance.

  1. I don't know any place off the top of my head, but that area should be reasonably lively on a Sunday night- particularly if you head in the direction of Akasaka-Mitsuke Station. There's a lot of hotels in the general area. Yakitori places tend to close on Mondays or Wednesdays, though not many places stay open too late on Sunday.
