One night in Vancouver?

Some friends and I will only have one night in Vancouver. We are all committed foodies and have heard what a great restaurant town it is -- so please help steer us in the right direction! We've heard great things about West, Restaurant C, Bin 941 and Nu. Extra points for something that says "Vancouver", as opposed to just being a great restaurant that could be anywhere. What do you recommend?

I just responded to another post about Vij's. I would pick Vij's over West.

So no votes for West, huh? I have heard about Vij's and it does sound amazing -- but would that be your pick for our only night in Vancouver?

I'd recommend both C and Nu, although Nu would garner higher points for the better view from the terrace over the water, if you're looking for that "Vancouver" moment. They're both practically in the same location. Bin 941 would be a great place for tapas before a dinner at either C or Nu.

I would have to second Vij's. C is excellent also and a great view to boot.

Vij's for Indian...pehaps the best Indian in North America:
