Sunday Breakfast in Brooklyn (Time Sensitive)

Looking for suggestions, please:
We would like to take some out of town relatives to breakfast in Flatbush or vicinity, tomorrow (Sunday) morning. It would have to be a decent place that's open by 9:30/10:00 am that has a breakfast menu.
Thanks very much!

  1. I guess Sunflower or Amazon both on Kings Highway.

Do they serve omelets, or other such breakfast type food?

yes they have the whole israeli breakfast thing.

Thanks very much! That's just what I'm looking for. Do you have a preference between the two places?

They're pretty similar, but I personally prefer sunflower.

Thanks again, so much! My husband ended up taking the relatives to Sunflower, and was very impressed with their breakfasts. Based on his report, they served beautiful fluffy omelets in plates overflowing with all the fixings - the kind we remember fondly from our visits to Israel. I'm sorry that I didn't get to join them, and look forward to going there and checking it out myself.
As for the Garden of Eat-In recommendations - Although I like it for many other dishes (filet of sole picatta, Capellini Primavera, Portabella Mushroom - Pizza Style, etc.), we weren't impressed with their omelets, the one time that we ordered them there.

    2. I don't know about Flatbush, but most Brooklyn Diners serve pretty decent standard breakfasts. Certainly plenty of choices for those not in a pancake/omlette, mood.
A lot of people seem to like the Vegas Diner on 86th St and about 14th Ave.. If it's still around, I think the foursome Diner in Sheepshead Bay is also decent.

Huh? Neither of those are kosher!

      2. When I am in Brooklyn I usually go to Garden of Eat In on Ave J. I don't know their Sunday hours though.

I definately recommend Garden of Eat In, no where else can you find a kosher diner.

Except for Luckys on Kings H'Way.
