Tasting menus in Atlanta?

In hopes that I won't seem too provincial, I will admit I live out in the sticks, by choice. But I would like to enjoy a tasting menu that doesn't involve flying to a city out of the region.
(Drive or take the train aren't the kind of suggestions I'm looking for.)

You are in luck - there are a lot of folks doing tasting menus and many more who I am sure would be happy to accomodate you. Thoughts off the top of my head:

Joel (although they are closed for remodeling for a few weeks)
    Restaurant Eugene

And where, exactly, do you live that is so isolated? I grew up in the country (although not in the South) so I can relate.

We live in upper east Tennessee on a mountain top, and our closest town's big news is that it's going to get a strip center with TWO fast food restaurants.
Atlanta is a more pleasant drive than Nashville or Louisville (about the same distance.)
Some of our food is venison and turkey shot on our property and fish caught in the river at the bottom of our hill.
      Thank heavens for the internet.

Have you been to The Blackberry Farm in walland, tn? Well known for their restaurant, though the long time chef who is very highly regarded recently left. It's pricey.

          Ah, I see!

Please report back after you have your tasting menu.
