B&B at the Venetian - a quick review w/ photos
SO and I have been remiss in our dining adventures in the Vegas Valley - we are back on track and decided to give B&B a try. I have not been to any of MArio Batali's restaurant's in New York, I've been to Mozza in LA twice, i've read other reviews ( somewhat mixed ) on this place since we were going to hit the poker tables at the venetian, why not give b&b a try ?
It's located at the end of "restaurant row" ... i still have to try david burke ( not very busy when we walked by at 8:30 ) and aquaknox (sp ? ) which was even less crowded ..i was surprised how small B&B was - somewhat simple design, but pleasant. We decided on the $85 tasting menu - 2 apps, 2 pastas, a meat dish and dessert. i've attached pics of some of the items, including the amuse bouche.
The highlights....the peroni was very cold...i liked it...the lamb dish was sublime
the lowlights - the service was inconsistent at best, the pasta...extreme al dente...and luke warm, the desserts....too small.
For the Strip, the prices were fair, my overall impression is that they still need to work out some of the kinks.
Are these pictures of the food as it was served to you or once you had begun to eat it?

i dug into lamb before taking a pic...sorry about that...the other two ( the amuse bouche one of the pasta dishes ) were untouched

My experience was somewhat the same--some of the dishes I liked but my pasta was crunchy. If I had not been in a hurry I would have sent it back.
