We will be staying in NYC for three nights....looking for breakfast, lunch, and dinner recs. Good food, reasonable prices..Love outdoor seating, sushi, bistro food...looking for suggestions on take away as well.

Thanks in advance.

Pampano, on 49th St., b/t 2nd & 3rd Avs., serves excellent modern Mexican cuisine with an emphasis on fish and seafood. Not to be missed are the passion fruit mojito and the guacamole. The interior space is very attractive, and there's outdoor dining on their lovely second-floor terrace.

Montparnasse, on 51st St., b/t 2nd & 3rd Av., is a very pleasant French bistro. The food was nicely-prepared and tasty when we had dinner there, albeit quite some time ago. Perhaps Hounds who have been there more recently will chime in.

As I recall, Montparnasse has a few tables on the sidewalk. However, you'd have to check with them re: being dog-friendly. And, fyi, Pampano is not.
