Creme Brulee in Hollywood?

Recently we've had a lot of medicore creme brulee. We used to love it at a french joint that closed down and have been on the prowl ever since= any suggestions?

Doughboys is down the street from me so i'll give them a shot- thanks. Last time we went they were still "working out the kinks" as they'd newly opened so hopefully it's smoother now...
