dining suggestions in and around mystic conneccticut

will be arriving late sunday nite in mystic connecticut and would appreciate lunch and dinner suggestions- no chains,fast food or tourist traps.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  1. We loved loved loved, Noah's in Stonington (upscale) and Water Street Cafe (casual). We did Cpt Danial Parker Inn but wasn't real impressed - nice pub though. The Flood Tide at the Inn at Mystic was great too but Noah's and Water Street Cafe in Stonington were the favs.

      There is a place on the hill above the Village Called "Jamms" thats not to bad. I will send you a web site with a list of the places in Mystic that might help. and this is another one for dining places in the Mystic area. Hope this helps , Good luck, and happy dining Earle

        i appreciate your reply. this will be my first trip back to mystic in many years,most of the places you mentioned are high-end places. im looking for more moderate,non-touristy places- so that would exclude mystic pizza. unfortunately the sea swirl has slipped in quality and has become quite pricey. any other suggestions would be a help..thanks..
