without question, something natural is the best deal in nantucket. great sandwiches, fair prices and cookie samples while you wait.

something natural is a great thing to take to the beach, and their bread is baked on site and it's great....the herb bread is excellent. HOWEVER, you had better check your sandwich before you leave the store because they mess up the order about 75% of the time. Get the oatmeal raison cookie...it's to die for.

I love Something Natural sandwiches, but "fair prices"? Ok, well, maybe they are "fair", based on the mortgage he has to pay to be on tony Cliff Road, and the cost of bringing out all of his supplies on the ferry, but they are not cheap! But nothing out here is... And Macshash is right, they do screw up the orders a lot.

Happy to report that as of May 1st, 2009, something natural is still going strong! I walked up Cliff Road, got a half Curried Chicken Salad sandwich on Portugese bread. It was plentiful and delicious. With sandwich in hand, walked down Liberty Street to the Jethro Coffin's house... arriving with still some sandwich left over. It was an unexpected location for this shop.

Oh, yes! We bought their sandwiches every day back in the Seventies. I'm amazed (and thrilled) that they're still in business!
