Delivery in the South End
Stuck in the house and looking for delivery rec's in the south end. Any suggestions?

House of Siam is a favorite and they are very quick
Pepper Pot - caribbean food, hole in the wall. Order through foodler.com
Upper Crust also delivers to the South End but they take a long time so be prepared
India Samraat - decent but they do have a delivery minimum
Other choice available on www.foodler.com. Just be careful because many of the restaurants listed deliver through Night Owl and charge a $5 delivery fee (or more). We try to pick from those with their own delivery service - delivery charge is much lower.

That is a fantastic link, anitab, thanks! Pepper Pot was completely off my radar: do you have any favorites you can recommend there?
In general, I need to explore Lower Roxbury nabes like Dudley Square more -- they seem to be a largely untapped Chow resource, or at least not discussed much here. I did manage to try Packy Connor's for its wings recently: very impressive.

The curried chicken is a favorite. It is served with a cabbage and carrot "slaw", red beans and rice, and plaintains. The small size is actually quite a large portion (I always have leftovers for the next day). My husband is a fan of the curried goat. The jerk chicken is not the best I have had - it is a little too fatty but the jerk spice is delicious - very peppery with a good kick.
The patties and coco bread are okay - the bread is a little drier than what I have had in the past.
I am going to try the oxtail sometime soon.
Another favorite Jamaican/caribbean is Ali's Roti on Tremont St. Its on the other side of Mass Ave and is open until 7pm.

That reminds me of these two older threads (updates would be awesome):
