Where to eat in Waltham tonight

Okay -- where is good in Waltham? Don't want to spend too much money but also don't want chain Mexican.

Ponzu does a nice Asian fusion. Good value too

Elephant walk and Erewan of Siam are also good.
Alot of folks like Solea for tapas, but I think the atmosphere far exceeds the food quality.

The Upper Cust had a delicious pizza. If you go to Tuscan grill and order no alcohol and get no dessert it will be less expensive and you will have a nice meal. It's funny because every time I go there the bill is always the same. I know that if my husband didn't have his three beers and his chocolate cake it would be cheaper. I like it there because it's a creative menu , has a bistro feel but is Italian. They are the type of restaurant where you will find a good tomato salad on their menu because it's August and it will have some good cheese with it .

There's un Upper Crust in Waltham? Where's it located?

Here's a thread from a couple of weeks ago that might help.

        Happy eating!

Upper Crust is on Moody street. It was a bit hard to find and I had to drive up and down Moody twice. It's on the same side as lizzy's ice cream. It's a metal sign and there is an Indian Market next door. There is a tree with branches that kind of hides the sign a bit or maybe I can't see.

Thanks, I'll have to check it out. Was at Lizzy's last week (black cherry ice cream with hot fudge) and didn't even notice it.

    2. Taqueria Mexico is quite cheap, and serves some of the best Mexican food that I have had since I moved to Boston. Their Tostada with ground beef and potatoes is a favorite. I just ate there for lunch during break, and am stuffed after spending just under $5.

Besides that, there are several good Indian restaurants around. While Kabab & Tandoor is delicious, they do not serve beer and it has more of a take-out atmosphere. For other Indian restaurants, check out some older posts on this board.
