Good Cuban Sandwich on LI?

After seeing Howie try to attempt this on Top Chef (I haven't seen this week's yet, so no spoilers please!) and remembering a place in Chelsea that had them in the window, my pregnant brain has decided we must have one.

Any suggestions on where I can get a good one??

Yes, that is pretty good. Only been to the Westbury one. Love the place, very nice people, solid food. The chicken and avocado pannini is tremendous. I like the option of black bean soup instead of fries, too.

Hmmm...not too off topic, the chicken and avocado sandwich is also top notch.

            GRINGO ALERT!

Just came back from the Laguna grille. While if I were comparing it to Subway, this was a good Cubano. Being a gringo myself, I have the good fortune of marrying into a latino family. And one f the benefits is going to REAL spanish restaurants. This is a place for folks that get a little shaky when they hear los palabras en espanol. You folks are really missing out.
