Spumenti recipe?

Does anyone have a good recipe for spumenti, that Italian hazelnut meringue cookie? I fell in love with it at Veniero's in NYC years ago and would love to make it.

    Ah, some 5 years later: "spumenti " is Veniero's name for "bruti ma buoni." You'll find recipes using the common name. Veniero's is forgiven, though, as their spumenti are heaven.

      I'm attaching a recipe from the "Ciao Italia" site for almond "spumini". Could be adapted for hazelnuts.

        I don't think that is the proper name; Spumanti is sparking wine, spumoni is an
        ice cream, but spumente? anyway, here's a recipe for hazelnut cookies, from a site
