Thank you CH's for letting me know about the OTHER DeLorenzo's! (And turns out another one is on its way!)

After reading about the other DeLorenzo's, my husband and I went to the one on Hudson Street last night. It is truly an experience!

My french (slightly skeptical) husband and I arrived for dinner around 7:30 and waited outside with the friendly policeman (!) and other people waiting. He gave us the recommendation to have two smalls, and we did, and they were not small!

The pizza was fantastic! The chunky tomato sauce was just right, not too saucy. I ordered Sausage and mushroom; DH ordered sausage, extra cheese, garlic, and onions (sweet vidalia) WOW. Yes, his BYO wine was opened by him and put into a plastic glass, but he even said that it was the best, least expensive dinner he had in a while!

We spoke to the grandson of the original owner and he is opening a new place in Robbinsville soon - need to find out when. Same pizza, same offerings (just pop and pizza, no menus either) but his new place will be bigger and will have a bathroom (!) Can't wait.

I will be going back soon. Can't believe I have lived 9 miles away for 4 years and just went. Shame on me!

Hudson Street in Trenton, NJ. Believe 150 Hudson. No internet site...I didn't even track down a phone number-- got the address from a previous ch board.

Not sure if you plan to go soon, but they shut down for a couple weeks for vacation - I think starting sometime over the next week. If you are planning to go anytime soon, you may want to track down their # and call to make sure they are there
