Restaurant w/view-Glendale/Burbank area??

I am trying to plan an event for 50 people and need a great venue with a view and decent food...sorry, but Castaway is out-the food there is terrible!

What kind of event and how formal? What's your budget? If you want both good food and a view in that area I recommend finding a good caterer and reserving/renting a hilltop park. I don't know if the Starlight Bowl rents out for events, but there are other options. It's too bad about Castaways food. It's in such a great spot.

Try Minx -- trendy, the food is good, pretty sure there's a view.

Serous? Most of the reports on here, as well as the LA times review, say the service at Minx is not great and the food is horrendous.

If you can drive over the cahuenga pass, you could try West.

West would give you a fine view of the Sepulveda Pass (and the 405), I am guessing the Cahuenga Pass might require a set of binoculars.
