ISO queso fresco and small flour tortillas (fresh)

Looking where to find? May be heading out to Kensington and St. L markets; any Mexican purveryors would be good; yes, I know, TO has little in that respect.

Try Emporio Latino on Augusta and Perola next door. Chorizo at Segovia across the street.

Actually, there are quite a few of latino grocers in Toronto but mostly Salvadoran, Ecuadorean and Chilean.

I was looking for queso fresco a few months ago and ended up empty handed. If you find any, please let us know where!

I'm pretty sure I saw queso fresco a few weeks ago at one of the Latino markets in Kensington. Perola's, I think.

I have definitely bought queso fresco at Perola several times. FYI - they also have crema.
I'd love some fresh flour tortillas but I suspect you may be outta luck.

No luck; but did buy some frozen veg empanadas, fresh corn tortillas at El saboro Latino in STLM. That queso fresco and flour tortillas still are still elusive!

Try Monforte Dairy at STLM (north side). She's got great artesenal cheeses and one that is really close to queso fresco. Alternately a wholesaler (Latin American Foods) is offering a queso fresco, but don't know which retailers carry it.

OK, not what you're looking for, and not appropriate to this board, but: flour tortillas are ridiculously easy (and cheap) to make at home. You won't get fresher!

I know; I want to try it some time I have a little more time, but I am busy right now and wanted a quick fill.
