Bring back Tim's Cascade Dill Pickle Chips

They stopped making them over a year ago due to new flavors and lack of shelf space, but they tell me that they do reprise mothballed flavors on occasion. Public input can make a difference, so do join in my efforts to see my favorite chips return. Here's the link at which you can contact Tim's Cascade to weigh in on behalf of Dill Pickle Chips.

If you're wondering what dill pickle flavored chips are like, imagine a pretty tart salt and vinegar chip with the addition of garlic and dill. Perverse...but terribly addictive.

  1. I sent an email to customer service and got the following reply:

    Hello Ruth:

"Thank you for taking the time to write to us here at Tim’s Cascade Snacks. We always appreciate hearing from our customers.

Unfortunately, the Zesty Dill Pickle Chips were discontinued due to lack of sales and limited shelf space. We just are not able to keep all of our flavors. Sometimes we bring a discontinued flavor back for a limited time - I will put another checkmark next to Dill Pickle in my weekly report.

Thank you again for contacting us and for being a supporter of Tim’s Chips."

Let's see if we can get some more "check marks" for her report!

    1. Tim's Cascade Vlasic Dill Pickle Potato Chips are back! I bought them at the QFC in Bellevue several months ago and they are available online. Sorry I can't comment on how they taste since I bought them for a friend. My friend seemed to enjoy them though.

I was a huuuge fan of these chips and this last weekend my husband and I were in Portland and I found the vlasic dill pickle edition. They were not like the original but still good. Sad to say they haven't made it to Alaska yet and due to past sales not sure if they will.

I saw these at my local Walmart and picked up a bag of the Vlasic Dill Pickle flavor because I remembered this thread. They are pretty decent, but don't taste like the flavor the OP described. A little tangy/pickle-y, definitely dill-y, even though dill is not explicitly in the ingredients list. Not my favorite flavor of Tim's.

I prefer Tim's Hawaiian line -- luau BBQ are my favorite, but the sweet maui onion are good as well. They recently released a mango habanero flavor that I also like and they have quite a bit of kick.
