Has Anyone Tried To Freeze Figs? [Moved from Manhattan board]

I have a ton of figs and I thought about roasting them and then freezing them... Any thoughts?

    Dried Figs are delicious, I don't know if that is an option for you. Granted, I don't know how to actually dry them, just eat them.
