Minden / Haliburton Rec's?

any Rec's for the Minden Haliburton area? doesn't have to be fancy, just good food, something unique would be a bonus. thanks

Okay pubgrub: McEeach's (or something like that) - right in Haliburton.

The Wigamog Inn was okay when I went a couple of years ago - you can dine there even if you are not staying there...

Delta just outside Haliburton is pretty good.

The name, tho still spelled wrong is more like Mckeks, its right on the Main Street in Downtown Haliburton. Ive also heard there is a great Thai place in Minden, I dont know the name, but how many Thai restaurants could Minden have?

McKeck's is owned and run by former Leaf Walt McKechnie.

Kawartha Daries on Highway 35 in Minden is awesome for ice cream. Their ice cream is high fat, but it sure is worth it.

Orchard Thai is right on the river, just across the bridge from Minden's downtown.
