Desserts midtown--pref east but could walk

abud Aug 14, 2007 07:09 AM

We are having pizza at Dean's (2nd btw 42nd and 43rd) and would like to go somewhere special for dessert afterwards.

Off the top of my head there are the milkshakes from Good Burger, the choux from choux factory, some decent desserts from deux amis on 51st, ciao bella at grand central, buttercup on 2nd. but none of these stand out for me.

what am i missing?

Dessert Delivery is also in the vicinity, as is Crumbs, which I happen to prefer over Buttercup. Have you thought about going to a restaurant for dessert only? davidburke & donatella might be a little further than you wanted to go, but the cheesecake lollipops are certainly a special dessert.

Hm--what would you recommend from Crumbs?

The Reese's Peanutbutter cupcake and the Oreo cupcake are the stuff children's dreams are made of.

LOVE Dessert Delivery. I'm more of a Buttercup gal, myself.

Perhaps, Junior's famous cheesecake? There's a location in the Grand Central.
