  1. some people swear by it, i was unimpressed.

Patsy's is much better in my opinion. its just a couple blocks north on 3rd.

      1. re: ESNY

WAY overpriced and not very good. La Pizzeria across the street is much better.

La Pizzeria would be considered good pizza if we were living in Omaha. But in NYC, it is horrible. The crust looks and tastes funny, almost as if it were pre-fab/frozen. I actually prefer Domino’s to their crap.

For a good laugh, check out their banner hanging in front of the store that claims that “residents” (whatever that means) have voted them top pizza in the area.

Best thing about La Pizzeria is the cute black cat that sometimes sits outside or on their cellar steps.

For a decent NYC (I am a Brooklyn born pizza snob) slice in the neighborhood, go to Rustica on 29th between 1st & 2nd or the place on Madison & 31st whose name escapes me right now.

      2. ONE OF MY FAVORITE SPOTS IN THE CITY (ESPECIALLY LATE NIGHT) BUT HAVE BOYCOTTED SINCE THE BLACKOUT......REAL NEW YORKERS DONT PRICE GAUGE DURING A TIME OF NEED!!!!!!!

FOOD IS GREAT, BUT WITH PATSYS RIGHT THERE AS WELL, WHY GIVE PEOPLE BUSINESS THAT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A SITUATION LIKE A CITY WIDE BLACK OUT!!!!

        1. They have good Margherita pizza and they are open to something like 4 A.M. on certain nights of the week. You should try out Vezzo on the corner of 31st and Lexington. They have the thinnest crust pizza I've ever seen in my life and it is unique and good; try the plain pizza but also try their pesto pizza.
