$50 Back Bay Restaurant Group card

Ok hounds, which mediocrity would be the best place to use my $50 Back Bay Restaurant Group gift card. I'd like to not go over by to much; my ideas were a ribeye at the bar at Abe And Louie's...how are the brugers at Charlie's?

  1. I like the rib-eye at the bar idea.

    1. You could give it to a charity to auction off! That's what I do when someone gives me a gift certificate to a restaurant I would not normally visit.

      1. Papa Razzi is actually quite good, although their portions are kind of small. I would go there if I had the g.c.

        1. actually abe's has a very good burger too.

And it comes (if you ask) with sweet potato fries!

              only at lunch, though.

          2. Try the Coach Grill on Route 20 in Wayland. Similar to Abe and Louie's.

Are they also one of the Back Bay Restaurant Group restaurants?

From the Back Bay Restaurant Group's Website, their restaurants are:

                Abe & Louie's
                Atlantic Fish
                Bouchee
                Charley's
                Coach Grill
                Joe's American Bar & Grill
                Papa Razzi

                  Well, there you go!

I'd actually vote for Altantic Fish out of that group.

              2. I don't go there for dinner, but Abe's does a good lunch and a great brunch (particularly if it is free). Their bloodys are some of the best around. I also don't mind Bouchee for lunch.

                1. On wednesday's Abe's has a crispy pork dish that's unbelievable. Other than that Atlantic Fish is easily the best and worthwhile of the otherwise lame excuse for a restaurant group.
