Dynasty Chinese Seafood Restaurant, Cupertino report w/ pics

A family lunch brought us to Dynasty Chinese Seafood Restaurant. It's located next to Macy's lower level INSIDE the Vallco aka Cupertino Square Mall.

This place is Huge. 2 large dining rooms and then smaller private rooms down the hall. We had private room V3 that fits 36 ppl, 3 round lazy susan tables x 12 seats each.

The family ordered a pre-set lunch, think it's the Lucky Star @ $268 per table and we didn't have to pay (the host paid) so I'm happy.

We had:

1. house assorted bbq combination platter: jellyfish, seadweed salad, mini octopus, cold sliced pork w/ fat, cold sliced beef. - pretty good.

2. braised bamboo pith & seafood in shark's fin soup - full of small shrimp & other stuff. Good.

3.honey walnut prawns. Pretty good.

4. deep fried ranch chicken w/ garlic sprinkled - chicken was tasty & juicy.

5. Teriyaki beef - good, very tender

6. sauteed sliced cuttle fish & chicken w/ tender green- chicken was dry & chewy, I don't like cuttlefish, green beans were in the dish and just ok.

7. salt & pepper fillet of sole - didn't try it, others loved it

8. steamed lobster w/ garlic sauce on vermicelli - delicious.

9. Yang Chow fried rice - good

10. Dessert of the day: jello & orange slices. - good

Many others in the large dining rooms were having dim sum so maybe worth trying.

Restrooms in the 2 main dining areas separate men/women.

Hrs: heard 10am-2:30p, probably open for dinner but i didn't catch the info.
