Shari Sushi, Orlando
Just wanted to say thanks to Bob for recommending Shari Sushi in Thorton Park. We went there last night and had an excellent meal. I'm glad we went with your suggestion and requested a seat in the upstairs loft space since it was pretty crowded downstairs. We only ate sushi...we had the yellowtail firecracker & the seared tuna delight, and I really enjoyed both. We also had two rolls, the Drama queen and Shari, which I thought were just average. Our server was very nice--no attitude at all and was very helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was young, trendy and very NYC as Bob had mentioned. My husband especially enjoyed the "eye candy" that filled the restaurant!
We walked down to Eola Wine Company afterwards and enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine. This was our first time there too.
Overall, it was a nice night and I would definitely go back. It was great to leave surburbia and hang out with the young and trendy. Thanks Bob!

I was there about 2 weeks ago and the expanded space was open. It really does add lots of new space. Also, even though it's not on the menu, they'll still make the Fruit Roll Up if you ask for it (my fav roll-Tuna and Strawberries!)

He also does a wonderful snapper carpacchio, served Thai style/ it is a beautiful presentation.
They are still working on expanding into the Urban Think spae next door and adding a full bar -- which will really pull in a bigger crowd but hopefully not alter the high quality sushi menu.
Generally I find most of his rolls only average. it is the high wuality of the sashimi that is especially enjoyable.Bob
