Sticky Toffee Pudding Ice-cream-ITS HERE! (moved from LA)

I've been waiting for this, Ralph's Grocery stores just got in the Food Network competition winning flavors stocked up in the stores. I just picked up the "Sticky Toffee Pudding" which I've been dying to try, tonight will be the taste test.

Well I guess I am behind the times as well.....and glad you posted this! I'll have to look for it next time I'm at the market, sounds great. My recent favorite is Ben & Jerry's, Stephen Colberts Americone Dream.....super!

Gosh--it's been in the Pacific Northwest for almost 2 years. It's been my special Christmas treat for the past 2 Christmases. I did just notice the coconut sesame brittle in the stores recently. Does anyone remeber the other runner up? I loved that show. I wish that the Food Network would do a new one instead of repeating all of the cake competitions.

The other runner-up was Cannoli.

The other two previously eliminated contestants were Caramelized Figs and Double Chocolate Malt (w/ PB I think?).

Although the ice cream has been out for awhile, I just tried it for the first time recently and liked it. Although it took me two tries. The first time I was thinking "it's okay, nothing to get excited about". But after the second time I thought, "Wow, this is actually pretty tasty". It's probably because the first time I tried it my sister in law just gave me a little taste. The second time I had my own bowl.

I actually just saw the sesame coconut brittle one as well...even though she didn't win. Interesting. I think I'd like that one better.

Really?! Where?! I'd like to try that one too. Of all the flavors that were considered that one sparked my curiosity the most.

All flavors even the runner ups are at the Ralphs on Coldwater & Magnolia right now, in the Hagen Daz section.

I couldn't wait and ate the entire pint of the "Stick Toffee Pudding" while I did enjoy it I would of liked more chunks included, good stuff

I got the sesame brittle one at the Vons in Pasadena. It's not as good as I thought it was going to be. But I'm glad I tried it.

STP ice cream has been over a year now. I believe that competition was held in 2006 or 2005.
