Breakfast in South East Valley-PHX

I am in search of a good breakfast place in the southeast valley. Farmhouse in Gilbert is already on the list. Any other places?

  1. I know its not really southeast valley but in Scottsdale there is Breakfast Club on scottsdale rd in old town (they have awesome bluberry pancakes and omlettes) and the Pancake House on camelback just past fashion square mall.

annalicious, you are probably referring to the Original Pancake House. It was the basis of a long thread that recommended lots of places to have breakfast, however, it was mostly Scottsdale and Arcadia locations.

    2. Check out U.S. Egg on SE corner of Baseline and Mill. Great protein pancakes. Also, T.C. Eggington's on Dobson and U.S. 60 has very good omelets and French toast. Around ASU, Harlow's is quite popular.

      1. I also was interested in the Hanger Cafe at the Chandler Municipal Airport, but, it's just too far for me to drive for breakfast. Here is another thread:

I dno't know if it's worth a long drive but we hit Hangar Cafe up in our regular rotation as we live down that way. It's a fun place for breakfast. The food is typical diner breakfast - basics done well. Nothing fancy.

        2. My favorite breakfast is at Crackers and Company. There is one at the US 60 and Country Club in Mesa. Try their California Eggs Benedict. Delish!

I was also thinking Crackers & Co., definitely worth checking out.

Also, TC Eggington's may not be breaking any new culinary ground, but I've always found them a solid choice for breakfast in Mesa.

Crackers and Co. is fantastic for breakfast or lunch. Our favorite is the Spicy Mexican skillet, with potatoes, green chiles, chorizo, and eggs with a homemade tortilla and sides of fresh salsa and sour cream. Anything with their carnitas in it is amazing. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, though. Be aware that the portion sizes are very large! They have a decadent and fantastic cinnamon roll that's at least the size of a salad plate, dripping with butter and frosting. They're also well-known for their blackberry bread pudding, which is delicious.

            2. Not much on atmosphere, but Adrian's Parkplace at McQueen/Elliott (actually, just East of the intersection) is worth checking out. The service is down-to-earth and the food is excellent.

              1. Joe's Farm Grill and Crackers & Co. are my favorites. I like Joe's for the local and organic fruits and veggies and great setting - tree shaded picnic benches, no pavement to be seen, or a fun retro vibe if you sit inside. My second tier would be Wildflower and Arizona Bread Company.

                3000 E Ray Rd Ste 101, Gilbert, AZ 85296

                Arizona Bread Co
                315 W Elliot Rd # 108, Tempe, AZ

                Wildflower Bread Co

I had lunch at Joe's today and perused a breakfast menu while there. It looks good; I'm going to have to try to be in that part of town for breakfast one of these days. I'd love to try the Monte Cristo Fritters!

                2. i'm a big fan of the farm at south mountain.
