Last Minute Family Dinner Tonight

Family is in town and have to take them out. Live in the East Village, but want to go a bit further uptown maybe by Union Square. Or open to somewhere decent around here too. Something not too expensive, but decent and has room for about 5. Kids involved!

Open to menu options. Even Thai might be OK!

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. But for future reference... Via Emilia is on 20th St., just west of Park Av. S. Very good pastas, especially the stand-out lasagna. Family-friendly. No credit cards and they don't accept reservations.
