Best source(s) for fresh pasta? (PHX)

Hi all. After reading through the recent squid ink pasta thread, I was left wondering where to buy really fresh pasta in Phx. I know I can get "non-dried" pasta at TJ's (and I would assume AJ's), but I inferred from the previous thread that nobody in the valley carries ultra-fresh pasta (i.e., pasta made the day or maybe the day before it's sold). Is this inference valid?

I think Mario will sell his homemade pasta. Give him a call at:

      Vincitorio's Restaurant
      1835 E. Elliot Rd.
      Tempe, AZ 85284
      (480) 820-2786

Thanks, Stu. Before I make my next trip to SE Tempe, I'll try contacting the restaurant to see if they're amenable to selling unprepared pasta.

I used to get homemade ravioli (vast selection) at a place at Scottsdale Road and Indian Bend. Cannot remember the name of it, and it's been ages since I stopped there, but I believe the same people own the Cove brick-oven pizza place in the plaza as well.

The spot that you are talking about is Garlic's in the Scottsdale Seville Shopping Center (right across from Rumors Salon) and I do not think that they own the Cove any longer. I have not been to Garlic's for a while but they used to offer various kinds of fresh pastas.

Garlics is closed....the Seville is going through some sort of metamorphasis.....their focus is on restaurants....
