There's a place on Hwy 76 (can't think of name of it) across from the entrance to Brasstown Valley resort that's a pretty good casual place.

There's a great little hole in the wall called Sue's in Blue Ridge. Cement block building yellowed with age and inside you'll find the burgers coming fresh off the grill - blt's made to order with bacon done the way you like it - three layer coconut cake so good we thought about buying a whole one to take home. Good food and good people, but nothing fancy.

Went to Rib Country in Hayesville, NC a few years ago. It was pretty good. Don't know if they are open for lunch. There is a golf resort in Blairsville, GA that looks pretty good on line.
