ISO Bulk White Wine Vinegar

The canning season is upon us and the green beans are ready for dilly beans. Since I go through a fair amount of white wine vinegar I am always searching for a source for a gallon or half gallon container that won't cost the moon, sun and stars. Any ideas? TIA.

I've never bought it in that quantity so I don't know the prices or how good it is, but I've definitely seen gallon jugs of vinegar - pretty sure both white and red wine - at Russo's in Watertown. They're in the annex section under the tables of asian greens. Probably worth calling them in advance to check on prices and brand before you make a special trip, but I'm 95% certain it is wine vinegar, not distilled vinegar.

Have you seen white wine vinegar at BJ's? If so which one? I only see white distilled vinegar at the one near me.

I saw it at the one in Weymouth a few months back. Check their website I know they have at least a partial listing of their products.

No white wine vinegar at the BJs in Hyannis. No food listings on the website. If someone goes to their local BJs or Costco can you look to see if they carry white wine vinegar. Not the white distilled vinegar but white wine. TIA.

I have a small canning business and the only place I could find white WINE vinegar in bulk was through my wholesale bakers supply and, even then, it was a special order and I had to buy it in a 4 1-gal quantity. I tried BJs, and various other outlets (can't remember which ones now) to no avail. Whenever I'd call someplace, they'd say "yeah, we have it." Turns out they were getting it confused with plain white vinegar. Sorry...I feel your pain!

If you can find a restaurant supply place that will let you shop w/out a membership, that's your best bet. There's Restaurant Depot in Needham, but you need a business tax ID and membership to shop. I know there have been threads on other rest supply places in the Boston area, so do a search and I think I remember seeing a couple that let the general public shop,
