I'm having a huge craving for a beignet. Anyone know where I can get one in Manhattan or Brooklyn?

I liked the bittersweet chocolate ones at The Harrison. I guess you could have them with coffee at the bar . . . I read a recent post here that The Harrison has a new chef is not as good as it used to be.

The Bar Room at the Modern has them-you get 5 in an order. If that's all you want, you can get them at the bar.

F&B's sells them and they are pretty good.

Les Ambassades in Harlem--best when fresh, and without cream inside.

You're probably looking for more bakery than restaurant, but Little Owl has some pretty kick-ass Beignets on their dessert menu.

Asia de Cuba has amazing little guys that come with caramel sauce.
