Beignets in the city?

I'm having a huge craving for a beignet. Anyone know where I can get one in Manhattan or Brooklyn?

  1. I liked the bittersweet chocolate ones at The Harrison. I guess you could have them with coffee at the bar . . . I read a recent post here that The Harrison has a new chef is not as good as it used to be.

    1. The Bar Room at the Modern has them-you get 5 in an order. If that's all you want, you can get them at the bar.

      1. F&B's sells them and they are pretty good.

        1. Les Ambassades in Harlem--best when fresh, and without cream inside.

          1. You're probably looking for more bakery than restaurant, but Little Owl has some pretty kick-ass Beignets on their dessert menu.
