Vietnamese in White Oak

Ate lunch at the new Pho An, and while no revelation, it was good and cheap.

Obviously, their specialty is Pho, and the place was packed with diners enjoying that dish.

They also offer grilled meats over rice or vermicelli, and I opted for shrimp. The veggies were a little skimpy--lettuce, cilantro, cucumber, bean sprouts, and chopped peanuts--but the shrimp (ten of 'em) were decent size and quite tasty. My dish was $7.50, which made it the most expensive on the menu.

They also offer fried and cold rolls and Vietnamese drinks including bubble tea..
