Quick Question: The Gingerman or Flying Saucer Draught Emporium

I'm new to Houston but have somehow ended up in charge of finding bars for a bacholorette/bacholor hybrid pub crawl tonight. The best man wants to go to the flying saucer (I've never been) and I was thinking about the Gingerman - we only want to go to one beer bar tonight - any opinions on which would be better?

I'd also say go to Gingerman, it's a lot better than Flying Saucer.

Gingerman's been around a long time, I like it alot. One of the main draws is the outdoor communal seating area which is useless IMO in the summer? Like the previous poster said, they both have plenty of beer.

My personal preference would be Gingerman. They both have a lot of beers available but Gingerman is more of a Texas institution. Plus, it is in the village which is probably more lively than downtown on a Wednesday.
