Five61 Dining On Avenue

Most mornings I drive up Avenue Rd north of St.Clair. For the past few months, I've noticed that a restaurant has set up on the ground floor of the apartment building at 561 Avenue Rd.

Does anyone have any information about it?

I went there once about 2 years ago. It is a small comfortable place, catering to all the residents of that and nearby buildings. Continental food, everything was good, but I don't remember much more than that.

Five61 has been there since the early 90s in one form or another.

I've always been curious about that place. It's been there for longer than a few months. I think I first noticed it four or five years ago. I too would be interested in anyone's experience with it.

I had dinner there about two years ago.
It was quite decent, and caters to the crowd in the surrounding buildings.
Continental.
Food isn't exciting, but well executed.
The chef is the owner of the restaurant.
Sorry, can't remember what most had, but can't believe that I recall having rack of lamb.
