any more Burbank suggestions? I just started a job that includes nights in Burbank, I'm not much for nosh up here and Portos closes at 7. :( places that are open past 10 are much appreciated.

What places are on your list now? For instance, are you tuned in to all the Thai places over in adjacent NoHo that are open late? Or Little Toni's at 4745 Lankershim Boulevard, North Hollywood? They are open until around 2 AM or so, 7 nights a week (IIRC).

Upthread, somebody (and it may have been me) mentioned the Coral Cafe, which is on Burbank Blvd. two blocks west of Hollywood Way and is open 24/7. It's a very respectable coffee shop with a HUGE menu and breakfast all day, not haute cuisine but just what I'm looking for after a late shift.

Bob's Big Boy, at Riverside and Alameda in Toluca lake, is also 24/7. Not as big a menu as the Coral, and again it's not going to win any food polls, but it's good for what it is.

Barney's Beanery's Burbank outlet is on 1st St. near the Media Center, open until 2 am. Not a huge fan of their menu, imho a bit heavy for late dining, but it's there.

i put Coral Cafe (that is exactly the sort of food I love after a late shift) and PhoCiti on my list (omg, Pho at 2am, reminds me of college days). I've tried Bog's Big Boy once and was not impress.

I am all for Thai any time, what places are open late? Gindi Thai is very close, and open to 11. That's actually what I got last night.

Any staple late night taco trucks that have been around for ages and are always in the same place?

Thank you, I will try all three sometime in the next month or so, they're all a bit further than I want to go, but within range, anything you'd recommend from the thai places?

It's been long enough since I was out that way that my recommendations are lost in the mists of time...I thought I had put up place links but maybe not? These things sometimes seem to disappear for no good reason. I'll try again with this post and see if they stick.

I love 24/7 places due to my insane middle of the night bike riding program - so the more places we can list here the better off my (eating) life will be. Thanks for your field work!

Well, it all depends on what you get at Lucy's Drive-In and how drunk you are (hopefully your designated driver can be your designated orderer too!) as to the quality of the food.

Another place I've heard about (24/7) and that I want to try one of these days:

Since you have an interest in late night (and especially 24/7) eats I wanted to come back and link one that ipsedixit came up with on another late night thread: http://www.phociti.com/ (and they also have 24/7 locations in Glendale and Burbank).

This is just a bit south of Westwood Village. I haven't been yet but plan on checking it out soon.

Max, is Belmont now 24/7? Because I don't think it used to be.

What about Damiano's (Mr. Pizza). Aren't they still 24 hours (and delivery as an option for every one of them)? (I guess they do close for a few hours)

Another likely suspect to add here: Hodori in K-town. Also 24/7

Which is why Kitchen 24 is posted...the one on Cahuenga, which is 24/7. Thanks! :) Oh, and Belmont is not 24/7, and Damiano's closes at 6am.

Ah-hah, I was wondering ... the Silver Lake Kitchen used to be known as The Kitchen 24/7 when it was always open, thus my confusion.

oh, and thanks for posting these links, but a lot of these are NOT, as you say, 24/7, like Roscoe's, Sanamluang, Toi, Belmont, Kate Mantilini, Spanish Kitchen, etc. Look at the above post (after 2am spots) for more accurate times, thanks!

A popular late night hangout if you're in the Koreatown area:
-BCD Tofu House (24/7 open) - for Korean Tofu Soup. Popular with all folks. 3575 Wilshire Blvd. (1 or 2 blocks east of Western)
-many of the pho places in Ktown are also open 24/7 if you have the craving for tasty broth
*Ktown is great for late late night drinking, karaoke, dining. I don't know how open your party is in regards to ethnic dishes (I have great recs for Abalone soup at 4am!).
-El Taurino - open 24/7 on Olympic/Hoover for some great carne asada!!!

In addition to Sanamluang, there's also Ruen Pair, both open until 4am.

25 Degrees in the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood is open 24 hours a day.

                                    And of course, Pink's.

There's a lot of places in KTown open at all hours. I'll start with BCD Tofu House on Wilshire.

I don't think anything ever changes at the Pantry. It is my memory that may be changing. I know the Pantry is 24/7 but I think the only meals (many when I attended school nearby) I have had there were breakfast. I also recall that during the several years that I ate there often it was at, or near, lunch time. Maybe I just got out of class earlier than I recall and went there during the late morning hours. Anyway, what I liked there was the thick slices of San Francisco sourdough toast and enjoyed watching how they slice it with a large knife in one hand and the bread in the other hand. The pancakes and bacon were always perfect.

From what I understand, breakfast is the only meal worth having there.

I was thinking of trying Ordonez for some crispy tacos that I read about on another post and so I called to see whether they are open. I was told they are open 24 hours. "We don't close," is what they told me. I just returned and IMO the Beef tacos dorado (shredded roast beef in a crispy shell) are very good. The meat and cheese is what make these a classic hard shell taco. The asada sope is also very good made with a chary asada and fresh sope.

Last time I was there, Cassell's was only open for lunch, closing at around 3 or 4 p.m.

Great list! Worth mentioning that Mao's closes at 10pm on weeknights.

I love Il Tramezzino in BH, open till 4 am on weekends for paninis and nutella sandwiches.
