Help me eat in Jackson, TN

My family and I are spending 4 nights in Jackson, TN. Are there any decent (or even marvelous) places there? Anything that isn't part of a chain? Or will I be at the Cracker Barrel the whole time?

I'm open to anyhting. Southern home cooking, bbq, steakhouses, coffee shops, any ethnic food at all????
