10-12 people for a 25th birthday party

I want to make reservations for my girlfriends 25th birthday party, for this Saturday, the 11th. It is preferred to stay south of CPS but north of Canal. I am hoping for somewhere that 10-12 of us can fit comfortably. Outdoor or indoor is fine, and maybe something in the $10-$15/plate range (for entree). I am open to any type of cuisine, I prefer no Italian. Maybe Mexican, Cuban, American, really open to anything. Thanks for your help.

  1. I always find that price range difficult to find with a fun atmosphere. That said, I think Schillers fits the bill pretty well. They'll take a reservation for that size. But just know that even if you show on time, you may have to wait.

    1. You don't mention whether the party is dinner or lunch. At that price range you might want to consider a Saturday brunch. You might want to do a search of this site for brunch ideas.

      1. Check out Lederhosen in the west village... good cheap brats ($4 - $5), beer, and other tasty german food. Service can be slow, so for parties I like to order a couple pitchers of beer so that our friends can have something to drink when they arrive. Get a reservation for 2 of the picnic tables in the back.

        1. What about Rare Bar and Grill in Murray Hill?

          1. I think Highline should fit the bill for entrees and it certainly does have a fun atmosphere. Kuma Inn or Jeeb should also meet your needs, with the added bonus that Kuma Inn is BYOB.
