question on street & co. seafood (portland)
appreciate the help i received on an earlier question, one more here.
i'm finalizing dinner plans for 1 over a weekend. i'm going to freeport (Harasseket) for lobster roll, duckfat for fries and maybe lunch, hugo's for dinner (already booked). i've got one other dinner, and i'd like it to be a lobster or seafood place.
if i just decide on a regular lobster, i'm leaning toward's j's oyster house.
but i'm debating going to street & co for seafood cooked with other items around it. so, my questions:
-> is there a menu online for them? i can't find one at all.
-> how are their lobster dishes? i don't mean just plain lobster (or lobster bake), but as part of a meal where the lobster meat is part of it.
thanks for your opinions...i'll be posting about my trip once it's complete...

Street and Co is all seafood, not at all a lobster bake kind of place. Let's say it's "chef-driven"... I don't think I've ever had lobster there, because I'm so addicted to the scallops in pernod cream. I believe they have it as a Fra Diavolo preparation.

street & co is owned by the same guy who owns fore st.
the menu isn't that much different...
portland has MUCH more to offer
if you're looking for lobster (just regualr ol lobster)
go to the lobster shack over by two lights state park in cape elizabeth...
you will get a boiled lobster at market price with a view that is amazing...
(recommend going after lunch but before dinner to avoid a rush)
said lobster shack is also byob, so bring a nice white and your own cups

In answer to your question, I think you will enjoy what Street & company has to offer for lobster dishes, which will be included with other types of fish.
