Great place to bring the kids in Philly?

Does anyone know of a great but relatively inexpensive place to bring children to in Philly? The kids aren't picky eaters, but if it's Italian, it really has to be good (a native Italian eating with us).

Thank you all in advance!

  1. There's Jones which is pretty good and kid-friendly and Pietro's Coal Oven Pizzeria, but it's just good. Is this for dinner or lunch? If it's for the latter you could take them to Reading Terminal Market.

    1. If it's lunch, kids absolutely adore Reading Terminal Market!

      1. What age kids? Lunch or dinner? What kind of atmosphere? We always have good luck with kids in Chinatown. For straight-up Cantonese, Shiao Lan Kung is great, for Vietnamese, try Vietnam, and for yummy Burmese, try Rangoon. All are relatively inexpensive, decent atmosphere, great food.

There are four kids, that span from ages six to thirteen. We'll probably be taking them out for dinner.

All are really great ideas. Thanks so much for your help!

Also, the Philly burbs like King of Prussia and Plymoth Meeting would be good. Thanks!
