I am coming into town with 7 guys for a bachelor party for a weekend in Vancouver this weekend. We are looking for a good cuisine (pan asian, japanese, tapas etc.) in a loud fun atmosphere where drinking would be encouraged. Hopefully a hip atmosphere with a good looking crowd.

We are staying at the Sutton Place Hotel. Any suggestions?

Thanks. Looks good, but from what I can tell they don't take reservations. That could be a problem for a larger group. Any other thoughts.

how about relish? it's not super-fine dining or anything but it's nice, quality, and definitely fun. i think it would be a great place for a bachelor party.

This is too late, but in case you guys make another trip sometime...
you'd probably want to hit Hapa Izakaya. Japanese izakaya/tapas in a trendy setting with attractive waitresses (my guy friends always want to go). They do take reservations before 6pm and after 8pm. Definitely get the tableside-torched saba.
