Not sure if it's open today or if the opening will happen in the next few days but here's the brief story from one of the news channels:

      Open today !!
Line out the door and cameramen out front.
Was told the delay in opening was to train new employees.
Personally, since they were closed up and things were crawling and 'brewing' in there for two weeks, I'm letting the ovens go for a day at full blast before I eat anything from there.

        Good idea.

And I hope they were training new, LEGAL employees so they don't have to go through all of this again. lol

No need for a Zipcar, unless you're set on cruising. It's only a couple of block from Metro.

Although you could take the bird to Sligo Parkway or Wheaton Regional Park since downtown Wheaton's not a great spot for picnicing ...lots of good food but few places to sit.

        WOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!

Hopefully they stay open for awhile. My boyfriend, despite living in DC for more then 7 years, has never tried the delicious "crack chicken." And when he comes to visit me again (he lives out of state) I promised him we would rent a Zipcar so he can get his fill before they (possibly) get shut down again.
