Boston Organics delivery

Since it looks like I am too late to do any sort of farm program this year, I was considering Boston Organics delivery. Does anyone use or know anything about them?

I've also posted positive word on them in the past. I've been a customer from the beginning and switch to all fruit in the summer because that is always heavier to carry home from the farmers' markets. It also gives me the tropical fruit-- bananas, pineapple etc. that I can't get locally.

In the winter, they save us from repeated trips to the store for produce.

I used them this winter then had to cancel delivery due to too many weeks out of town. The quality is generally good, though the stone fruit comes so ripe you need to eat it practically the next day. I liked the customization options as well as some of the add-on items. I had to work really hard to eat the smallest option by myself, every other week. I think this is a great idea for a family. During the summer and fall most of the produce is local.

I have posted before and you'll find them if you search, but I'll just quickly say that I have used them for 1 1/2 years and i'm generally quite happy.

four years for me, generally quite happy. Not as fresh and good as a CSA, but good quality and value overall, especially compared to grocery stores.
